Fairs & Flowers

Hi there! I hope you had a nice 4th of July, and that you got to see the fireworks. I was in Ventura at a craft show, and had a great time. It turned out to be the best one ever and I want to thank everyone who came out to support me. It was great seeing old friends, and new ones too. I love Ventura, and think it's one of the prettiest cities. Here are a few photos I took of a building dated 1925.
Aren't the carvings beautiful? These are way up high, and you wouldn't normally see them from the street unless you were looking up.
Another trip to Roger's Gardens, one of the prettiest nurseries around. This is some kind of geranium, but I'm not sure what the name is, but I love the soft pink color.
The statues here are always so beautiful.

More colorful flowers.
I bought this giant dahlia at the nursery. It's tall like a sunflower, and the blooms are that big too. I hope I can keep it coming back year after year.

Another white flower that is a favorite, the hydrangea. What's your favorite flower?

Happy 4th of July

Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July, what are you going to do? I have great memories of sitting by the duck pond enjoying the fireworks display. There's something about seeing fireworks by water that's magical. Have you ever seen them at Sea World? They have a great display right after the last Shamu show, and I bet the one for the 4th is great. Anyway, whatever you have planned I hope it's a fun, relaxing day for you.
