When I'm not soldering, I'm gardening. I love to plant flowers, and especially containers that will attract flower fairies. So I went to the nursery and bought tiny plants and a shelter for them to enjoy.
This white planter will be a sure hit with the fairy folks. And the candle will warm their fragile little wings during these chilly winter months.
I added a path made of Irish moss, and lined it with small rocks.
I've been inspired lately by the beautiful Swedish blogs like Lilla Blanka, where white candles are often used.

Look closely and I think you'll see one hiding behind the shrub to the right!
Tonight the flower fairy's are sure to appear!Take care and thanks for stopping by,
Martha

So cute! Love your little planter with rocks and moss. The white candle really adds softness and serenity. I'll have to browse the blog you mentioned.
Martha, my daughter loved her charm you made and I wear mine whenever I wear pink which is quite often. You do such quality work! When you're not gardening, I'm glad you are soldering!
BUT, do you have containers that will attract Apple Fairies? What --- you've never heard of Apple Fairies?
Well, they're about four feet tall, they weigh 50 pounds, they're wonderful ballet dancers and their little wings need to be attached manually. I realize this is an oddity in the fairy community but Apple Fairies believe this makes them unique.
Should one appear in your garden, a few things to know: They are partial to chocolate chip cookies, butter pecan ice cream and smoked cheddar cheese.
Finally, in a related story, my daughter was an Apple Fairy this past Halloween. Curiously, she, too, is partial to chocolate chip cookies, butter pecan ice cream and smoked cheddar cheese.
The Fairy World seems to be a wonderful, often complex, place to let an imagination run wild.
That is a sweet little garden! I love the path! The fairy folk will love you for it! It is very beautiful.
That is beautiful. LOVE it!
Hi Martha,
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks fairies visit the garden.
