His name is Stormy, and we named him that because our first dog is named Sunny, and well being creative thinkers, and the fact it was raining when we got him, the name fit. The reason we bought them, was because I was in extreme pain, grieving the loss of our beloved black lab Toby. He was with us for 11 years, and was part of our family as our kids were growing up. I missed him so much, and the best thing I did was quickly get a puppy. It really did help.
Pets are such a huge part of our lives, and provide unconditional love, and loads of joy. Sometimes when I've had a crummy day, I just give my puppy a giant hug, and his softness and warmth makes me feel much better. He never judges me either, he just wags his tail, and I feel that things will be OK.
So I wanted to create a special keepsake for our furry friends.

Oh Martha - I don't know what's sweeter - your cuddlepup Stormy, or that amazing ornament of him....Love it!!! Since I was so blessed to win your witch giveaway, I think it would be appropriate to sit this out (although it pains me so!!) Hi Martha, Oh your Stormy is so beautiful! Dogs are so special. I have a rat terrier named Dot, she has one Dot on her back. She is 11 years old and I don't know what I would do without her. Stormy is just beautiful. What a sweet and handsome doggie he is. I nodded my yes through your whole post. I know you know that I can relate 100%! Dogs just make everything better. Phoebe saved me from days and days of sadness over the loss of Albie. I still really miss him but she helps make things happy and cheery all the time and life is very good with her.

Hi Martha - Five years ago a cat from the house next door to us started to visit us, the mom had passed away and the cat was so lonely. Recently the family moved and they asked us if we would like to adopt Tigger. We did and we enjoy her so much. She is 13 years old, very loving, likes to "talk," and is so funny. We hope to give her the best life we can for the rest of her life! - Judy & Robyn :)
Oh my is that cute or what? I want to give him a big kiss too. I feel the same about sour kitties. I can be having a bad day but just a hug and cuddle from one of them and I feel better.

Oh my how I adore this...and your Stormy is so so sweet.
It was 8 years ago. My one and only was getting ready to head off to college. My husband works out of town, so to keep me company I got Molly, a blue Chihuahua. She follows me everywhere throughout the day, so I put her in charge of shipping and receiving!
She has brought so much joy to our lives...we love her!

Oh your dogs are just gorgeous!
This will be our 1st Christmas without a dog in a long time. We lost our lab in May of this year.

I would love it if I could get one of my rabbits! They are often misunderstood animals and deemed as a great childs pet when in fact they have complex needs and require so much attention! Though for all the effort they take they give back enormously!
Your sweet pups are absolutely beautiful. I have a Vizsla that thinks he's a petite lap dog. He's a big goof but we love him all the more for it. What a special and wonderful giveaway. Happy Holidays
Your pictures of Stormy make my heart ache. You see, we lost our beautiful 11-year-old Golden, Star, four months ago, and the loss is still almost too much to bear. Like Stormy, Star also loved to carry sticks, also loved to snuggle on the couch, and had an absolutely angelic face that required frequent kissing. Star was my best friend, my constant companion, the love of my life, owner of my heart. How I miss her sweet face, her happy grunts, our silent communication, the loving touch of her paw... She filled our house with such joy. Dogs are a gift from above. Please remember to cherish every single moment you have with your dog, soak up every memory, make extra time for an activity that makes your dog happy. Love your dog every day of her life. Now go and give your wonderful pups hugs and kisses, and please say a little prayer for my beautiful angel Star.
